Campbell stood up on Brownlow date

Jesinta Campbell has been stood up by Brad Sewell.The Miss Universe Australia, who approached radio star Eddie McGuire to help her find a date to take her to the Brownlow Medal sports event earlier this month, was disappointed when Hawthorn footballer Sewell cancelled on her due to food poisoning.

Campbell told The Daily Telegraph that Sewell was taken ill following a date to Chinatown the night before, saying: "He ordered the seafood, which probably wasn't the wisest decision, and he's copped a bit of food poisoning. I had chicken."

She instead went to the event with Footy Show star Sam Newman's son Jordan, who said that Campbell had "drawn the short straw" with him as a date.
