Cameron Diaz Calls Ex Justin Timberlake “Frickin’ Weird”

Cameron Diaz insisted that working with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake on their new movie ‘Bad Teacher‘ was not at all awkward.

“He’s frickin’ weird in movies. He’s so bizarre and hilarious. I say that with great respect to his character and what he’s done!”

Cameron said he was the best actor for the part.

“[Justin is] a genius comedian. . . he’s clearly talented. We went for the best person for the job, and it just so happened that it was him. And he delivers.”

I have to say, I was really impressed with Justin in ‘The Social Network,’ and he’s always been funny on SNL, so I suspect he does deliver here. Are you interested in seeing this?

Cameron Diaz attended a photocall for her upcoming movie ‘Bad Teacher’ at CinemaCon at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas today.

CinemaCon was honoring the star with their Female Star of the Year Award and Cameron took the opportunity to promote her new movie while in town to receive her award.

Cameron Diaz IS absolutely hilarious in movies so I think this award is well-deserved!

CinemaCon is coming up at the end of this month and during the event they’ll honor Cameron as their Female Star of the Year. The head of CinemaCon said,

“Since making her debut on the big screen in ‘The Mask’, Cameron Diaz has continued to capture the attention of audiences around the world with her inescapable charm, innate comedic timing, and unparalleled screen presence.

“From the outrageously comedic ‘There’s Something About Mary’, to the action packed ‘Charlie’s Angels’, and the critically acclaimed ‘Being John Malkovich’, Diaz has proven to audiences that she can take on any role and we are thrilled to be able to present such a remarkable actress with the CinemaCon Female Star of the Year Award.”

Cameron will be on hand to pick up her award at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas on March 30th.

Tom Cruise to Play 'Rock n' Roll God' in New Movie

 Tom Cruise has signed up to play aging musician Stacee Jaxx in the big screen adaption of the hit musical Rock of Ages, and director Adam Shankman is sure his performance is going to impress everyone.

The actor has been taking voice lessons for his role and has been studying the '80s rock songs in the musical to make sure he gets everything right.

Adam told Access Hollywood: “I think we’re going to see him every drop the rock ‘n’ roll god! I’m very excited. He’s so committed to doing it. He’s pouring himself in this part in a way I’ve never had an actor do … it’s pretty intense.”

Tom Cruise will have to perform several songs in the film, including Styx’s "Renegade," Bon Jovi’s "Wanted Dead or Alive" and a duet of Foreigner’s "I Want To Know What Love Is," possibly with Anne Hathaway, who is set to play the character Sherrie.

Shankman also confirmed rumors Russell Brand is in talks to join the cast as Lonny, the manager of The Bourbon rock club, while Alec Baldwin is set to play Lonny’s boss Dennis.

He added: “We are talking to Alec Baldwin and there may be some Russell Brand. I can only say at this point that there may be, because the deals aren’t closed.”

I’m keeping my eyes peeled for pictures of fashionista Blake Lively, too (I’m sure she’ll at least make it to the Chanel show), but I wonder if Cameron’s boyfriend A-Rod stayed stateside?

Megan Fox was spotted visiting the beauty salon. She’s been keeping such a low profile since her marriage to Brian Austin Green! But we’ll be seeing more of her soon enough: she has the film ‘Passion Play,’ which is due out this year. Megan’s also filming ‘Friends with Kids’ and has another movie, ‘The Crossing,’ in pre-production.

"We went to high school together," the said of her fellow Long Beach Polytechnic High School alum on Wednesday's Lopez Tonight. "He was a year older than me."

"I remember him even back then, he was very tall and skinny. He always wore lots of ponytails. I'm pretty sure I bought weed from him."

Diaz adds of Snoop, who has not lost his passion for the herb, and even has a medical marijuana card now, that "I was green even in high school!"

“She’s a real pro, and I really look up to her. She’s going to kill it in this movie, and she’s the perfect person to play the bad teacher,”

“She has a great sense of humor, she’s just a blast! We hung out and talked a lot and laughed. She’s a real girl’s girl,”

The film isn’t due out until next summer, but it just sounds like it’s going to be good!
