According to TMZ, the pair - who married in 2005 - filed court documents on Wednesday detailing the terms of the split.
Bratman is said to have received an undisclosed sum of money despite a prenup agreement in place prior to their marriage and has left the house which he shared with the singer. In addition, the former couple will share custody of their 3-year-old son Max.
The divorce is expected to be finalised on April 15.
Aguilera announced her split from Bratman in October 2010.
