Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones: Valentine’s Lovers

Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones: Valentine’s Lovers

Celebrating the Valentine’s Day holiday, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones were spotted out to dinner in New York City last night (February 14).

The “Wall Street” stud and his “Entrapment” wife both looked snazzy as they made their exit from a swanky Big Apple eatery.

In a recent interview, Catherine talked about keeping her hubby at the top of her priority list, per advice she got from Michael’s father Kirk Douglas.

"Kirk said, 'The most important person in your life is your partner because with children and friends, they grow and eventually leave the nest.’ It's true, at the end of the day it is just you and your partner.”

"I do feel lucky that I met Michael. Not just Michael Douglas the actor and producer with two Oscars on the shelf, but Michael Douglas the love of my life."

I didn't understand my relationship with MJ, says ex-wife Lisa Marie

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley confessed on The Oprah Winfrey show that she failed to understand her relationship with the King of Pop.

"I didn''t understand my relationship with him," UsMagazine.com quoted her as saying.

Though skeptics have labeled their 18-month marriage a sham, Presley, 42, insisted it was the real deal -- though she understands why Jackson''s behavior might cause people to question its validity.

"To some degree, he was a master at manipulating the media," she said.

"I understand that nobody really knew who I was. They just assumed I was going along with something he would be doing....I understand it better now. The manipulation was a survival tactic for him," she added.

Douglas blames ‘Saggy Ass’ for rejecting the raunchy 'Basic Instinct 2'

The 65-year-old ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps ’ star — who’s married to actress Catherine Zeta Jones — says he stayed well away from the critically panned Basic Instinct 2 because he didn’t feel confident back in the raunchy role.

“The first one was great and Sharon Stone was fantastic but who would want to see my saggy ass?” he said.

“I just didn’t feel like doing another. The first one was a tough one to do and we pulled it off so god bless them but I didn’t go near the sequel.”

Michael recently insisted he’ll never live up to the greatness of his father Kirk Douglas.

“I don’t think of myself as a legend,” he said last month. “My father is a legend. I’ll never match him on that score.

I just love the fact that whatever I do I still get to share with him at the age of 93.”

Douglas will next be seen in Oliver Stone’s ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ that releases in India on September 24th. The actor is battling throat cancer.

Offering up details on the situation, Douglas says that he was informed of the condition - which is labeled as Stage 4 cancer - following a doctor's appointment for an extremely sore throat.

Having just finished up with the first week of radiation and chemotherapy, Michael admits "that it's about an eight-week struggle."

Utilizing drugs to ease the pain, the big screen legend later replied to a comment from Dave about how good he looks, saying, "Let's just say I'm pretty lit up -- I'm pretty lit up right now."

On a positive note, Michael added that the cancer is yet to spread beneath the neck, which lands him at an eighty percent chance of recovery.
