Get a glimpse of Katy Perry’s sweetest teenage dream. In the pic Katy, wearing a retro bikini, bright heavy bracelets and neon pink manicure, is getting flirty with a male model standing in front of her in the bright orange swimming trunks.
Teenage Dreams is Perry’s third studio album set for August 24th release in the US. It’s Katy’s first music effort in two years after the mega popular One Of The Boys.
The first single of the new album is ‘California Gurls’, summer 2010 anthem that’s become the fastest-rising single to Top 10 radio in more than four years and shattered another record by scoring more than 13,000 spins in one week for the second consecutive week on both the BDS and Mediabase charts.
‘California Gurls’ has also spent 3 weeks at No. 1 at pop radio (setting the record for the quickest ascent to the top spot since Gwen Stefani’s ‘Hollaback Girl’ in May 2005) and made the biggest leap to No. 1 since Mariah Carey’s ‘Shake It Off’ in September 2005.
While ‘California Gurls’ is smashing charts, Katy is hard at work on the album. Last night she tweeted the wrap on her micro blogging page:
