There's no better place to scope out Hollywood beauty secrets than at the World Series of red carpet events. Check out stars like Jennifer Lopez, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman, whose flawless Oscar beauty never ceases to amaze.

Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman was a stand-out at the 2009 Academy Awards in an unconventional pastel Rodarte evening gown. Her make-up was designed to highlight the soft floral hue of the chiffon dress. Natalie's eyes were bordered with a deep purple and faded into a soft lilac shadow.

Beyonce
Beyonce is never one to shy away from dramatic beauty looks, and for that we love her. The starlet's cat eye at the 2005 Academy Awards was intensified with a metallic line and false lashes. Beyonce drew attention to her high cheek bones by lining them with red and highlighting the apples with white shimmering powder.

Drew Barrymore’s new boyfriend is a playboy & an “art consultant”

Drew Barrymore’s new boyfriend is a playboy & an “art consultant”

fp_6837838_barrymore_drew_lmk_07_21

Drew Barrymore has a new boyfriend! And she’s suddenly showing him off on a daily basis too. My first thought is “good for her” considering that on-again/off-again thing with Justin “Cunnilingus” Long went on for much too long. Drew needed someone new, and she got somebody. His name is Will Kopelman, and Us Weekly describes him as a “socialite type and a playboy.” Gossip Cop is more specific, describing him as “an art consultant and son of Arie Kopelman, who ran Chanel.” WTF is an art consultant? Like, he just hangs around galleries and makes comments about art? He tells rich people what art to buy? That seems like an interesting gig. Oh, and my new title is Gossip Consultant.

I also tend to wonder if “son of Arie Kopelman, who ran Chanel” is supposed to be rich-person shorthand for “his daddy’s got money.” Will certainly dresses like it, if these photos are supposed to reflect a casual outing. Will’s outfit reminds me of, like, the Princeton alum at his 20 year reunion. Ivy League, totally. I wonder if Will has money of his own, or if it’s all daddy’s? How much does art consulting pay?

Gossip Cop also has an insider who claims that it’s “too early” to call Will a boyfriend yet. They’ve only been spotted together for about two weeks, and a source tells Us Weekly that it is “a very new relationship and they’re taking things slowly.” Photo ops this early? Seems sketchy… but it’s Drew. She loves big, she loves fast.

Drew Barrymore Has a New Man

Drew Barrymore Has a New Man

"Going the Distance" Premiere

Drew Barrymore has a new man! The actress was spotted at lunch with her beau in LA over the weekend, and apparently they've been seeing each other for a few weeks now.

The lucky guy's name is Will Kopelman, and he's an art consultant and the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman. He's reportedly the "socialite type and a playboy" a source said.

He and Drew apparently locked lips at a Dewar's party on February 10, and then were spotted again this weekend looking cozy. Guess this means things are definitely done between her and on-again, off-again beau Justin Long...

Drew Barrymore – ABC's Charlie's Angels reboot

Entertainment Weekly confirms that Siega has completed the deal to direct the pilot, but has not included information on whether he will direct subsequent episodes of the show. Charlie's Angels will bring back Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen as executive producers, as they were on both the 2000 and 2003 movie versions.

From Sony Pictures TV and Drew Barrymore's Flower Films, the new ABC pilot reboot of the classic 1976 'Jiggle TV' series "Charlie's Angels", created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts, has now cast their 3 'sxy sleuth' leads : Annie Ilonzeh ("General Hospital"); Minka Kelly ("Friday Night Lights"); Rachael Taylor ("Transformers").

ABC's Charlie's Angels reboot: Unlike the original 1970s series, where the team of private investigators were disgruntled graduates of the police academy, the update currently has the crime-fighters as a trio of not-so-angelic criminals. in the pilot, Charlie brings them together and offers an opportunity to redeem themselves — by working for him, of course.'

Script is written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar ("Smallville"), who also executive produce along with Nancy Juvonen and original "Charlie's Angels" TV producer Leonard Goldberg. the pilot will be directed by Marcos Siega ("The Vampire Diaries").

The premise of the show will remain the same as the original series, with three women who work as private investigators for a mysterious, unseen man named 'Charlie Townsend' (Robert Wagner), who only communicates with them through a speaker box.

Film Critic Slams Most Of Hollywood

Film Critic Slams Most Of Hollywood

British film critic David Thomson basically went NUTS on Hollywood this morning. The Editor of The Biographical Dictionary Of Film ripped apart almost every A-lister I can think of during an interview with The Daily Mail. Here is just a sample of what he had to say about today’s top celebs:
  • HUGH JACKMAN: He is hot (I suppose). Now, he just needs to be interesting.
  • KEIRA KNIGHTLEY: She is astonishingly beautiful. But Keira is about as interesting as a creme brulée where too much refrigeration has killed flavor with ice burn. She is still more credible as a faintly animated photographer’s model than as an actress.
  • BEN AFFLECK: On one hand I have always had a soft spot for Affleck. But my other view is that he is boring, complacent and criminally lucky to have got away with everything so far.
  • BRAD PITT: Hardly anything he touches now is less than ‘precious’ and ‘awesome’ — it can’t be long before he begins to look very tired.
  • HILARY SWANK: In nearly everything she has done, she has been pretty, dull, ordinary and incapable of lifting the film clear of a sanctimonious mud.
  • JENNIFER ANISTON: She’s in her 40s now and her £5 million-a-movie career cannot go on for much longer. But rather in the manner of Doris Day, while one can make gentle fun of Jennifer Aniston, it’s hard to dislike her.
  • DREW BARRYMORE: I can’t help finding it shocking, as well as startling, that Drew Barrymore was born so recently (in 1975), and yet seems to have been here, and a problem, for so long.
  • GEORGE CLOONEY: It’s clear, as he approaches 50, that George Clooney is the most liked actor in U.S. pictures. And it is also clear that he knows it.
  • MATT DAMON: What’s most interesting about Damon is the very lack of good looks — and the feeling of a squashed and rebuilt face.
 See some more...

Justin Long upset at nude scene being deleted

Actor Justin Long was devastated when his nude scene in the Going the Distance movie were deleted.

"I worked out for months getting ready for that one nude scene. I wanted to make sure I didn't embarrass Drew! I put a massive effort into getting buff - and now the scene ends up on the cutting room floor," femalefirst.co.uk quoted him as saying.

Despite being upset about the scene getting chopped, Justin claims he adored working with co-star Drew Barrymore.

"She's everything. She's beautiful and insanely funny and working with her I got to see a side of her that I hadn't seen before," he said.

"I hadn't known her in a professional capacity before and the way she treats people on set just made her so much more beautiful."

I want a calming romance

Drew Barrymore has confessed that she now craves "easy" and "calming" relationships.

The 35-year-old actress, who is rumoured to be dating Going The Distance co-star Justin Long, told Bang Showbiz that she no longer desires romances that require a lot of effort.

"When you're young you just want to be in love," she explained. "I call it crazy love, because you just want to have fun and you're not thinking about the future or kids. You just want to have a good time with that person.

"Then, as you get older, even children aside, you just think, 'God, I actually like when it's easy, and I want these attributes from this person. I need these kinds of systems in place to feel calm'."

The Whip It director also revealed that she can't stand partners that don't live up to their promises.

"[I go for] someone who, when they say they are going to do something, does it. I really, really am attracted to any person, personally or professionally, who keeps their word."

Last month, Barrymore claimed to have lost count of the number of times she has been hurt by men.

My life is a disaster

Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore says that despite her good organisational skills behind the camera, her real life is a disaster.

"My real life is a disaster, it's absolutely nuts. I'm just a mess. I'm never organised, I lose everything," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

Barrymore directed the 2009 film Whip It, starring Ellen Page, but admits she's on a look out for another script.

"As a director, I'm really trying hard to find something I fall in love with again because it's a really long, intense job that you work on every day for the next three years.

Barrymore became more beautiful

Justin Long has admitted that he got to know a different side of his girlfriend Drew Barrymore on the set of Going The Distance.

The actor, who has been dating the actress off-and-on for several years, insisted that Barrymore appeared "more beautfiul" to him when he saw her professionalism and kindness at work.

Speaking to Us Weekly, the 32-year-old said: "She's so funny, insanely funny. But I also got to see a side of her during this movie, which I hadn't seen, because I'd never known her in a professional capacity.

"I got to see how she treated the people that she's working with and it made her so much more beautiful. She's lovely to everyone - to PAs, studio people, no matter where you are in the hierarchy. It's rare."

Long recently revealed that he and Barrymore have battled many obstacles to keep their romance alive.
Going The Distance debuts in US cinemas on September 3.

Drew Barrymore loves strip clubs

Hollywood beauty Drew Barrymore says that deep inside she is a "dude" and believes that is the reason why she likes hanging out in strip clubs. The Charlie's Angels star said that she feels like a 13-year-old boy and enjoys hanging out with men, reported Sun online.

"In a lot of ways I feel like I have a little bit of dude inside me, except mine happens to be a 13-year-old boy, not a fully-fledged man. I like a good strip club as much as the next guy. I actually like it," said the 35-year-old actress.

The actress who shot to fame at the age of 3, with the cult hit ET, insisted that she never worried about ageing and wouldn't rule out plastic surgery.

"I don't want to be vain or fearful. And I don't think I'll do anything, but if I want to do something, I will.

From my perspective, there's no reason to be afraid of ageing, because if you age, you're lucky! The alternative is death," said the actress.

Barrymore who is reportedly dating actor Justin Long, said that she hates being told to settle down.

"If you're 35 and single and it's a choice, it feels fine. So I didn't settle with the wrong person yet. Big deal," said the actress.

I am ready to be reborn'

Drew Barrymore has said that she is ready to take a break from her hectic lifestyle.

The actress admitted that she has been "aggressive" about pursuing opportunities and was left feeling exhausted and in need of relaxation.

"For three years straight, I've been burning the candle at both ends, and as of last December, I just didn't have anything left," she told Elle.

"I've been so aggressive about living life to the fullest and being plugged into everything, but now I've ripped the plug out of the wall and put it on the floor for a while."

She added that disconnecting from her responsibilities has given her time to reflect on spiritual matters.

"I'm thinking about the same things as when I was 15, about spirituality and who I am, who I want to be. It's cocoon, pupa, larva, and f**k, I'm reborn!"

Barrymore can next be seen in Going The Distance, which opens in US cinemas on August 27.

Fashion faux pas were great

Drew Barrymore has said that she now thinks the fashion mistakes she made as a child actress were "brilliant".

Barrymore, who appeared in Steven Speilberg's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982, when she was 7, has insisted that although her fashion decisions at the time were odd, she doesn't regret them.

Speaking to InStyle, the 35-year-old said: "[My first fashion faux pas was] anything I wore on the red carpet in the E.T. era. What was I thinking? Velour and taffeta, together? Oh, no, no, no. Now I think it's brilliant."

Recalling the first record she ever bought, she said: "The one I really remember was the Go-Go's, Beauty And The Beat. That was, like, the first freak-out I had, where it changed my life. That was girl power."

Barrymore also said that she started paying rent when she was 14 and that her heart was first broken by her first boyfriend Jamie Walters.

I’m not sober !!

The ‘Charlie''s Angels’ star claimed to have found "balance" in her life, and thus she doesn''t have to cut out all the things she used to be addicted to.

"I''m not (sober) and I don''t claim to be - quite the opposite. I''ve tried to find the balance. I hope it''s balanced,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying in a new Parade magazine interview.

The actress has always been open about her addictive past—she had her first sip of alcohol when she was nine, began smoking marijuana at the age of 10, and first took cocaine at 12.

Her mother reportedly even staged an intervention when Barrymore was a teenager, and checked her into the ASAP Family Treatment Center rehab hospital.

The actress quit the facility after 12 days.

Drew Barrymore to take part in a green race

Drew Barrymore, who appeared in the film "Music and Lyrics" with Hugh Grant, isn't satisfied with just being a talented actress. The beautiful movie star is also making an impression with her commitment to environmental issues.

Currently appearing in "He's just not that into you" she didn't hesitate in accepting the challenge to take part in an electric car race. The race will be arranged for the new programme of the celebrity TV show host, Jay Leno, in the United States. A number of other celebrities will also be taking part in the event. However, Miss Barrymore will have the honour of being the first behind the wheel and to take to the track, which isn't very far from the studios of the show. We wish her very good luck!
