Hilary Swank’s Five-year Relationship is Falling Apart

Shortly after Hilary Swank split from Chad Lowe, she started up with her married agent, John Campisi. John swiftly got a divorce, and his relationship with Hilary Swank is now five years old. Hilary Swank gets along with his son from his previous marriage, to the point where Hilary Swank gives interviews about how much she loves the kid, and how she walks around naked around him. She also plays a little fast and loose with the whole thing about John being married when they got together - she’s still selling herself as a nice girl who believes in “the sanctity of marriage”. Anyway, the Enquirer has an interesting report about what they say is her struggling relationship with Campisi:

Hilary Swank’s five-year romance with agent-turned-lover John Campisi has hit the rocks - because she’s STILL not ready to tie the knot! The Enquirer has learned that Swank has grown weary of her boyfriend’s controlling nature… and that’s the real reason she’s hesitant to say “I do.” Plus, she still smarting over her painful divorce from Chad Lowe, says a close source.

“Hilary Swank and John are at an all-time low point right now,” divulged one source. “To put it bluntly, the spark between them is gone. They’re bickering, and it’s hard to remember the last time either of them looked truly happy.”

According to the insider, Hilary Swank has been grappling with John’s increasing need to control their lives and his constant pressure to get married.

“As much as Hilary Swank respects marriage, she now sees legal commitment as unnecessary in terms of happiness and personal fulfillment… I think eventually she may have been talked into it if John had stopped pressuring her so strongly. But he’s turned her off getting married - at least for the time being - by ramming the idea down her throat, day in and day out.”

One of the issues bothering Hilary Swank is that John, who is one of her agents, is micromanaging her career, says the source.

“She knows John has her best interests at heart, but sometimes she finds him so suffocating, and it’s hard for her to separate work from her personal life. They need to give each other space is they’re to have any chance of turning their romance around and having a future together.”

And that’s why I think it would be really difficult to get serious with someone who technically works for you in some sort of managerial position - it feels like you’re being ordered around. It feels like your partner is micromanaging. It would suck. It makes me wonder how Reese Witherspoon and her guy are managing - although I don’t think her guy is technically part of her management team, so maybe that’s how they make it work.

I also wonder if Hilary Swank isn’t too enthusiastic about marrying John because of the way they got together - Hilary Swank had barely just gotten out of her marriage to Chad Lowe, and John still had a wife. That being said, I just don’t think Hilary Swank is the kind of woman who gets ordered around by her boyfriend. I just don’t believe that’s her dynamic with anyone.

Hilary Swank Launching A Clothing Line

Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank, who also happens to be a former gymnast, is launching her own line of sporty clothing.

What started out as just a T-shirt line quickly evolved into an entire collection with DMA, Designers Management Agency. The company’s co-founder explains the style of her collection:

“Our platform is a contemporary, outdoor, athleisure brand,”

Athleisure. That sounds like something I could be comfy in just hanging out around the house all day!
I wonder what the price points will be on this line? Part of me guesses that since Hilary Swank is a thrifty shopper, she’ll want to keep the costs down as much as she can, but you never know!

Swank wasn't allowed to play with other kids as a poor child

Hilary Swank, whose worth may now be 40-million dollars, was not allowed to play with other children when she was a kid as she belonged to a poor family.

The Oscar-winning actress revealed that she was isolated from other kids in her neighborhood because other parents didn't like the fact she lived in a trailer park.

"I had a roof over my head and my mom worked hard to make sure there was food on the table, but the parents of the neighborhood kids wouldn''t let them play with me. They would tell them, 'It''s time to come in' if they were with me, or if I was at their houses, it would be, 'Hilary you need to leave', " the Daily Telegraph quoted Swank as saying.

She said she didn't understand the prejudice some people held about her living arrangement when she was younger.

"I didn''t understand because I didn''t know there was this kind of stereotype about people who live in trailer parks and I look back now at those parents who were in their mid-30s - the age I am now- and I think, 'How could you do that to a child?' said the 'Million Dollar Baby' star.

The 36-year-old beauty doesn''t regret her past because it means she doesn''t rely on material possessions.

"I do drive a nice car, but that doesn''t make me who I am. I don''t need those things to feel complete, or feel like I belong. People ask me if I would change my past if I could and I never would, because it made me so grateful for what I have today," she added.

Hilary Swank has revealed that she struggles to gain weight.

The actress was required to put on 15lbs for her role in the drama Conviction but admitted that she had to more than double her caloric intake and stop working out to achieve the task.

"I personally have difficulty keeping weight on, and for this role I had to add 15lbs. My character, a single mum, hadn't any opportunity to stay fit," she explained to the New York Post.
